Effective for use of Slackroid Marketplace (marketplace.slackroid.com)
This document is an electronic record in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Consumer Protection (E-commerce) Rules, 2020. It governs access to and use of Slackroid Marketplace.
Slackroid Marketplace is owned, operated, and managed solely by Slackroid. All products listed on the Platform are owned, marketed, sold, and fulfilled directly by Slackroid. The Platform does not facilitate or host third-party sellers.
By accessing or using the Platform, you enter into a legally binding agreement directly with Slackroid. These Terms of Use, together with applicable policies, constitute your binding obligations with Slackroid.
Definitions
“You” or “User” refers to any individual or legal entity accessing, browsing, or purchasing products from the Platform. “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to Slackroid, the sole owner and seller operating the Platform.
Amendment of Terms
Slackroid may revise these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, business practices, or operational requirements. Updated terms shall become effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
User Account, Password and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activities conducted under your account. Slackroid shall not be liable for losses arising from unauthorized use resulting from your failure to safeguard login information.
Accounts containing inaccurate information or remaining inactive for a period exceeding twenty-four (24) months may be suspended or removed at Slackroid’s discretion.
Products and Services
Slackroid offers original fashion and lifestyle products, including apparel, footwear, and accessories. All product descriptions, prices, images, and availability information are controlled and provided by Slackroid.
Payments, Returns and Refunds
Payments are processed through authorized and secure payment gateways. Returns, replacements, and refunds are governed by Slackroid’s published policies and applicable consumer protection laws in India.
Pricing, GST & Billing
All prices displayed on the Platform are exclusive or inclusive of applicable taxes, as clearly indicated at the time of purchase. Slackroid is the sole seller and merchant of record and is responsible for the collection, invoicing, and remittance of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) in accordance with Indian tax laws.
Customers may place orders either for personal use or on behalf of a business entity. For business purchases, users may provide a valid GST Identification Number (GSTIN) at the time of checkout to receive a GST-compliant tax invoice.
Where a GSTIN is provided, the billing name, billing address, and GSTIN must correspond exactly with the details registered under the GST Network (GSTN). Slackroid shall issue the tax invoice strictly based on the billing details submitted by the user at checkout.
Slackroid shall not be responsible for denial of Input Tax Credit (ITC), mismatches, reversals, penalties, or non-compliance arising due to incorrect, incomplete, or invalid GST details provided by the user.
Once an order is placed and the tax invoice is generated, billing details and GST information cannot be modified, except where required under applicable law.
User Conduct
Users shall not misuse the Platform, attempt fraudulent activities, infringe intellectual property rights, or engage in conduct prohibited under applicable Indian laws.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Slackroid from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from misuse of the Platform or breach of these Terms.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
